The Vancouver Park Board is one of the only elected bodies of its kind in Canada. As with all other civic elected posts in the City of Vancouver, seven Park Board Commissioners are elected every four years.
The last civic election took place in November 2014 and the next election will be held in October 2018.
The Park Board generally holds public meetings every two weeks, with a committee meeting followed by a regular board meeting. The meetings take place at the Park Board Administration Office located at 2099 Beach Avenue in Stanley Park, and are also available for online viewing via the Park Board's new live webstream.
