Impacts to traffic, parking, businesses and residents

Traffic on West Georgia Street will be impacted by intermittent lane closures as required. There may be delays during construction. Please use alternate routes.

Access to businesses and residents will be maintained and sidewalks will remain open.

Parking restrictions will be in effect throughout construction and will be removed as soon they no longer needed.

The City crews will do their best effort to minimize the impact on parking and traffic in the area.

This road work is part of maintaining critical city infrastructure, and once the pipes are replaced they will last for many years.

How this project will improve the city

This project will improve the water main infrastructure in this neighbourhood. Once replaced, the pipes are expected to serve the neighbourhood for another 100 years.
