City crews are scheduled to start the construction to upgrade the sewer main along East 29th Avenue.

Project Update

Streets Operations crews are scheduled to do grinding and paving work along East 29th Avenue from Nootka Street to Rupert Street on Aug 20th (grinding) and Aug 21st (paving) from 7am to 5pm. The eastbound lane will be closed to all traffic while crews are paving.

  • 2400 - 3200 blk East 29th Avenue (from Nanaimo Street to Rupert Street)

Expected duration

  • Start: Monday, March 10, 2014
  • End: August 2014

Hours of work

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm (may include weekend work)

Status

  • Completed 

Impacts to traffic, parking and residents

Traffic in East 29th Avenue will be reduced or closed off during construction.

Residents access will be maintained at all times.

Local parking may be affected by the presence of work trailers and construction equipment. If you are expecting deliveries or need access to your parking lot, please contact us and our crews will do their best to accomodate your request.
