East 25th Avenue water main replacement project

The City will be replacing the water distribution main along East 25th Avenue between Kamloops St and Renfrew St. The water mains have reached the end of service life and replacing the mains will provide to install a larger capacity main to serve the neighbourhood.

Impacts to residents

Traffic in East 25th Avenue will be reduced or closed off in the project area. During construction, residents access will be maintained at all times.

Local parking may be affected by the presence of work trailers and construction equipment. Parking restrictions will be removed as soon as they no longer needed.

How this project will improve the city

This project will improve the water main infrastructure in this neighbourhood. Once replaced, the pipes are expected to serve the neighbourhood for another 100 years.
