During June of this year, 92 catch basin covers were stolen in Vancouver. Since September, 19 more grates have gone missing, 13 of those in November. Please be cautious of uncovered storm drain or catch basins, which are a foot or two deep and can be as deep as five or six feet. They pose a significant danger to pets, pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.
